NWS Issues Flood Watch Alert for Woonsocket
A 'Nor'easter-like storm' is expected to bring 1 to 3 in. of rain later today.
More rain over already-saturated ground and swollen rivers has prompted The National Weather Service to issue a Flood Watch, effective through Saturday morning.

Wind gusts of 30 mph and higher are also expected as part of the "Nor'easter-like storm" that was moving northeast from the New York area at about 9 am. this morning.
