Jacqueline M. Roy-

Jacqueline M. Roy, 83, died Tuesday Jan. 17 at home in Burrillville. She was the wife of Raymond H. Roy to whom she was married for fifty seven years. Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late E. Arthur and Rhea (Vanasse) Beaupre. Mrs. Roy grew up working in her father's store, Beaupre's Pharmacy, eventually becoming President and co-owner, she ran the store for over forty years along with her husband Ray. Jackie graduated from St. Claire High School in Woonsocket and attended Salve Regina College in Newport, RI. She was an active artiste who painted, taught and showed her work at the Providence Art Club, Wickford Art Association, and the Plain Aire Painters. She taught art at the in Woonsocket and also gave private lessons in her home.

Jackie was an active member of St. Theresa's Parish in Burrillville and a member of the choir.

Besides her husband she is survived by her four children, Arthur Roy and his wife Claire of Woonsocket, Suzanne Laferriere and her husband Henry of Chester, SC, Lise Ann Paille and her husband Ron of Uxbridge, MA, and Christopher Roy and his wife Debra of Plymouth, MA, ten grandchildren, Peter, Lauren, Stephanie, Jessica, Jeffrey, Samantha, Paul, Jennifer, Megan, Kayla and two great-grandchildren Vanessa and John. She was also the sister of the late Pauline Dupuis.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the , 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Theresa's Church in Harrisville. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-8 p.m.

Riena C. Leclerc-

Reina C. Leclerc 94, formerly of Woonsocket, died peacefully on Jan. 17 at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Clovis Leclerc. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Laura (Brule) Dulac. Mrs. Leclerc was a hairdresser for the former Armandine Hair Salon many years ago. She retired in 1983 from the State of RI Lunch Program where she worked for over twelve years. Reina enjoyed spending time with her family and considered her siblings to be her best friends.

She is survived by her sons Gilles Leclerc and his wife Nancy Landini of Woonsocket, and Bernard Leclerc and his wife Diane of N. Smithfield, a brother Marcel Dulac of Bellingham, a sister Therese Plouffe of Woonsocket, four grandchildren, Aaron, John, Justin, and Shannon Leclerc and two great-grandchildren Sarah and Katelyn. She was also the sister of the late Annette Lambert, Jeanne Cardin, Sr. Noella Dulac, Gerard, Cora, Claudia, and Marie Anna Dulac.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., in St. Joseph’s Church Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 p.m.
