Oh No! Another Snowstorm Expected to Hit Woonsocket on Thursday

Two potential snowstorms could hit the area over the next five days.

The National Weather Service is predicting another 4 to 6 inches of snow could fall for most of Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts on Thursday.

Woonsocket could see up to 4 to 8 inches of snow on Thursday morning through late Thursday night, according to Accuweather.

The NWS said snow is likely to start falling on Thursday afternoon and stretch into Friday morning.

β€œThe greatest impact will be across Eastern and Southeastern portions of New England, including Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island,” said the NWS.

The forecast calls for 4 to 6 inches for Rhode Island.

After the storm leaves, arctic air and bitterly cold wind chills are expected Friday night and Saturday morning.

Another winter storm could hit Saturday into Sunday. The NWS said there is a β€œmoderate risk” of a weekend storm.
