Pamela Goyette Inducted Into Honor Society at New England Tech
Scholar enrolled in surgical technology program.

Pamela Goyette of Woonsocket was recently inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) International Honor Society at New England Tech along with 70 other outstanding students at a ceremony held at the college's East Greenwich campus.
Goyette is enrolled in the college's surgical technology program. This ceremony marked the seventh year that New England Tech students have been recognized for meeting the honor society criteria which includes academic, leadership, service and fellowship achievements.

To be eligible for membership in New England Tech’s PTK Chapter, known as Beta Xi Phi, students must complete at least 24 credit hours of coursework leading to an associate degree, maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.8, and demonstrate leadership, service and fellowship accomplishments.
The Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society dates back to 1918 and is the oldest, largest and most respected honor society that recognizes associate degree students. PTK boasts more than 2 million members and 1,250 chapters located in 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada and Germany.
