Police Seize Large Amounts of Cocaine, Heroin from Woonsocket Home
A Woonsocket man was arrested for possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.

Rhode Island State Police seized 1,980 grams of cocaine and 556 grams of heroin from a Woonsocket home on Wednesday.
Francy Pimentel, 28, 240 Rockridge Road, was arrested and faces drug distribution charges, according to Rhode Island State Police.

Members of the HIDTA Task Force executed a court-authorized search warrant to 355 Paradis Ave. and seized 2,536 grams of controlled substances in addition to packaging material and digital scales.

Pimentel is charged with manufacturing/possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of cocaine in excess of 1 kilogram, manufacturing/possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin in excess of 1 kilogram, distribution of controlled substance near school zone and possession of controlled substance Schedule I, II, III.
The suspect was processed at the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks and was held overnight pending an arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
