Two Woonsocket men are being charged in separate and unrelated cases.

WOONSOCKET, RI — The Providence Grand Jury has returned indictment against two Woonsocket suspects accused of separate, unrelated crimes, the state Attorney General's office said Thursday. An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation, the Attorney General's office said. The U.S. Constitution guarantees that a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Emmanuel Guzman, 29, of Woonsocket, is being charged with two counts of first degree child molestation, two counts of second degree child molestation, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and two counts of providing alcohol to a minor. According to police, sometime between April 1 and May 3, 2017, he provided alcohol to two females under the age of 14, thereby contributing to their delinquency. It is further alleged that he molested one of the females, with the molestation being in the first and second degree.
The alleged events took place in Woonsocket and the Woonsocket Police conducted the investigation. Guzman is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on July 12.
