Today in Woonsocket: It's Veterans Day!
In Burrillville, a small group will gather at 11 a.m. today in Veterans' Park at the Pascoag Bridgeway. Their Veterans Day observance will connect with the one in Washington, D.C., and all those on the East Coast who represent the Doughboy Foundation by the tolling of Bells Of Peace to mark the moment 103 years ago that the Armistice was signed in France. The event is organized by the Burrillville Allied Veterans Council. (yahoo)

Thanks for following along and staying informed with Kathleen Stoddart. I live in Woonsocket and have 3 grown kids and 3 dog babies to keep me busy. I love hardware stores and can be seen checking out all the cool stuff. Being a Realtor, I sort of have an excuse. It's heading into the Christmas season when I get to make baskets of goodies for our service workers and neighbors . Neighbors, on Thanksgiving, please don't think we're crazy but my husband cooks his delicious deep-fried turkey and lowers it into the pot with his hockey stick!
