Retired Woonsocket Police Chief Passes Away

The Woonsocket Police Department announced that retired Police Chief Herve B. Landreville has passed away.
Landreville served the Woonsocket Police Department from 1978 to 2003. He earned several awards and distinctions in every division he worked within, the Woonsocket Police wrote on Facebook.

Landreville also served as the officer in charge of the Accident Prevention Bureau, the Narcotics Squad and served as Commander of the detective division prior to being appointed Chief.
The Woonsocket Police Department thanked him for his service.
