RI Biker Gang Arrests: More Charges Against Defendants: Part 3

Dozens of people were charged in connection to the drug and gun trafficking which biker gangs allegedly were running. Here are more names.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Dozens of people were charged in connection to the drug and gun trafficking which biker gangs allegedly were running. State police raided 29 addresses on Wednesday. Here are more of the accused and the charges. Information comes from the Rhode Island Judicial Portal. Patch will update this story with more defendants.

Emmanuel Alvarez, 30, was arraigned in district court on Thursday on two felony charges:

  • conspiracy felony greater than 5 to 10 years; and
  • conspiracy drug felony greater than 5 years to life.

Both charges are associated with Jan. 19. His bail hearing set for June 7 in Superior Court. He has an extensive criminal record.

Jason Elias, 38, was arraigned on Thursday on these charges:

  • possession of a firearm by person convicted of a crime of violence/fugitive from justice. (10 counts)
  • sale to persons under 21 or under 11-47, various sections. (2 counts)
  • conspiracy, Felony less than 5 years; (6 counts)
  • illegal sale of concealable weapon (2 counts)
  • soliciting another to commit a crime.

All 21 felonies are connected to July 21, 2017. No plea was entered. His bail hearing in Superior Court is set for June 5.

He is also being charged with felony Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled substance, first offense. That offense was reported May 23, and he will be arraigned in district court on May 30.

He also has an extensive criminal record.

Ashley Cullerton, 27, was charged with four felonies. She was arraigned on Thursday for these three offenses.

  • conspiracy drug felony greater than 5 years to life;
  • conspiracy felony greater than 5 years to life; and
  • receiving stolen goods greater than $10,000.
Both conspiracy charges are connected to Aug. 3, 2017. The stolen goods charge was reported May 24.

She will be arraigned on May 30 for an offense reported on May 23.
  • manufacturing, delivering and possession with intent to manufacture and deliver (Schedule I/II) controlled substances, first offense.

Her bail hearing is set for June 5 in Superior Court. She has not been previously charged with any crimes.
