Man Shot Behind Woonsocket Auto Repair Shop
Police said they looked for witnesses, but everyone they spoke with only saw several people running away from gunshots.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Police in Woonsocket are working to find a suspect accused of shooting an Attleboro, Massachusetts man in the ankle Monday night behind an auto repair shop.
Police said the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m., Monday night at Colon Auto Repair on South Main Street.
Police found the victim, a 24-year-old man at a convenience store across the street but he was confrontational and did not want to cooperate, Deputy Police Chief Michael Lemoine told WPRI 12.

The man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Police said his wounds did not appear to be life threatening.
Police said they searched the area for witnesses, but everyone they spoke with nearby only saw several people, including the victim running at the sound of gunshots.
