Smoke, Building Evacuation in Woonsocket Fires

There was only one fire on Wood Avenue on Monday morning. The fire took place around 7:30 a.m. at 685 Wood Ave. The heavy fire took place on the top floor of the building and all people inside the building were evacuated.

There were two fires reported in Woonsocket on Monday morning, according to NorthEast Fire Alerts.

There was a working fire inside a dwelling at 65 Wood Ave., NorthEast Fire Alerts reported at 7:27 a.m. on Monday. There was fire and heavy smoke emitting from the residence when firetrucks responded to the scene.

There was structure fire at 685 Wood Ave., NorthEast Fire Alerts reported at 9:53 a.m. on Monday. The heavy fire took place on the top floor of the building and all companies were evacuated.
