Woonsocket Boys Basketball has played a couple warmup tournaments and will travel to Ponaganset for the injury fund game on Tuesday. The senior laden squad will begin their Division I campaign on Friday against Mt. Pleasant.
Woonsocket Girls Basketball kicked off its season with a big win against intracity rival Mount St. Charles on Thursday, 58-40. The Villa Novans will host Smithfield tonight, Monday, in its first league match up.

Mount St. Charles Girls Hockey got off to strong start with a blowout victory against Narragansett/SK/NK Co-op, 9-0. The Mounties will face off against Barrington/Mt. Hope/Portsmouth Co-op on Thursday.

Woonsocket Boys Hockey has really struggled out of the gate. The young team is 0-3, and still has yet to score this season. They were outscored 32-0 in their first three games. The Villa Novans will look to get off the schneid on Saturday against Mt. Hope.
Mount St. Charles Boys Hockey is off to a 1-2 start, losing their last contest in overtime to LaSalle, falling to the Rams for the second time in the young season. The Mounties crushed Burrillville in their only other contest this season. MSC looks forward to playing teams not named LaSalle and will continue their season on Friday, when they welcome Moses Brown to Adelard Arena.
