Thanksgiving Trash Pickup Schedule
There's no rubbish and recycling pickup on Thursday, so the schedule for Thursday and Friday is on a one-day delay.
WOONSOCKET, RI–Blake Collins, the city's public relations coordinator, is reminding residents the recycle facility is closed on Thanksgiving, so there's no rubbish or recycling pickup on the holiday.
"The Recycle Facility will reopen on Friday, Nov. 25 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and be open on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon," he said.
"Residents are reminded that curbside pick-up for trash, recycling, and yard waste originally scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be delayed by one day. Please contact the Woonsocket Department of Solid Waste with any further questions or concerns at (401) 767-8880."
