Wanted Woonsocket Man Picks Up New Charge: Cops
The Woonsocket man had nine warrants out for his arrest, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man with nine warrants out for his arrest picked up a new charge, police said.
Dontay Heywood, 21, was arrested shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday on a charge of obstruction of an officer in execution of duty and nine warrants from previous cases, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Heywood was pulled over and arrested on Easst Avenue in Pawtucket, according to the release.

"Heywood was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment as a bail violator at Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
