Woonsocket Announces Holiday Trash and Recycling Schedule
Curbside pick-up is delayed one day for the holiday.

WOONSOCKET, RI—Curbside trash collection will be delayed one day and the Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility will be closed over the holiday weekend, due to the Christmas holiday.
The trash collection schedule and facility hours are as follows:
Friday, Dec. 23: Normal trash and recycle collection day; Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 24: Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility closed.
Sunday, Dec. 25: Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility closed.

Monday, Dec. 26: No trash and recycle collection; Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility closed.
On Dec. 26 through Dec. 30: One day delay in trash and recycle collection.
Residents are reminded that wrapping paper should be recycled. Excess recyclables including cardboard and paper can be brought to the Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility, 943 River St., free of charge for all Woonsocket residents. (Normal hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. The facility is closed Dec. 24 through Dec. 26.)
