Woonsocket High Salutatorian: Hailey Kadisevskis

Scholar to attend Old Dominion University in the fall.

 

Hailey Kadisevskis, salutatorian of 's graduating class of about 300 students, is an unassuming, quiet young lady with an amazing resume.  She is involved in her school community; she is an accomplished athlete; she has logged numerous community service hours and she is an excellent student and person.

Hailey is highly motivated and seeks out various avenues to expand her horizons. She takes Advanced Placement and Honors classes where she excels.  She has also taken Honors classes through Virtual High School on her own time, earning extra credits in her junior year, and she completed a college class in the summer to fulfill her Art requirement.  Some students pursue endeavors to create an impressive resume, but it is her love of learning that motivates Hailey.

Hailey also has very mature interpersonal qualities. She enjoys being around children, so she left her home school in Cumberland to pursue Child Studies/Human Services at . She has won the praise of all her teachers and fellow students in this program. 

Hailey has been involved in a variety of activities including National Honor Society; Skills USA; Future Business Leaders of America; the Child Studies/Human Services Program; and indoor, outdoor and cross country track. She is president of the Yearbook Committee and is a recipient of the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Award.

She has attained the distinction of class salutatorian with a grade point average of 97.78 percent.  Hailey will be attending the Honors Program and Old Dominion University where she will major in Business Management.
