RI Man Accused Of Shooting Child With A BB Gun
A Woonsocket woman was also arrested after prosecutors say she failed to intervene in the child abuse.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man and woman are facing charges concerning their roles in abusing a child with a BB gun, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha said Friday.
On Sept. 12, Paul Marcheterre, 37, was charged with second-degree child abuse, felony assault, and disorderly conduct. Ann Doyan was charged with child endangerment.
Prosecutors said the abuse happened on May 21. According to prosecutors, Marcheterre shot a child who was known to him with a BB gun at a home in Woonsocket. Doyon failed to intervene in the assault against the child who was in her custody, prosecutors said.
