Woonsocket Man Faces Assault With Dangerous Weapon Charge
Woonsocket Police recovered a .44 magnum and charged the suspect with firing in a compact area.

A Woonsocket man was arrested and a firearm in his possession was recovered on Tuesday, according to police.
Woonsocket Police and numerous patrol and detective units investigated the incident, which led to the arrest of Lorenzo Hicks-Hinson, 27, 419 Diamond Hill Road.

Hicks-Hinson was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (firearm), possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, permit required for carrying pistol, firing in a compact area and possession of a firearm after being convicted of a violent crime.
