Woonsocket Police Aim for State Accreditation; Hope to Build Public Confidence
The accreditation team is coming to the Woonsocket police department on Dec. 19.
WOONSOCKET, RI—State accreditation assessors are coming to the Woonsocket Police Department on Dec. 19 to review all the policies and procedures and assess the management, operations and support services.
The goal is to insure professionalism and to build public confidence. There is a public comment component, and citizens can call the assessors on Dec. 19 with their observations.
