Woonsocket Police Chase Ends in Arrest

A police chase in Woonsocket Thursday ended in an arrest.

Woonsocket police said State Police were trying to pull over Mark Boiteau, 52, of Woonsocket, on Cumberland Hill Road. Boiteau sped away, police said, and a Woonsocket police cruiser chased him from Hamlet Avenue to Park Avenue. A foot pursuit ensued, and Boiteau was seen running into his home. He was found hiding in the attic.

Boiteau was scheduled to be arraigned Friday on a host of charges.
