The following arrest information was supplied by the Woonsocket Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Drunken burglar meets his match

Todd Joseph Green, 40, of 502 North Main St. was arrested on Sunday around 5 p.m. for tampering with a vehicle. Officers answered a call in the area to find Stanley Krajczski, 50, standing outside of 378 North Main St. and pointing to a window, where Green was looking out. Krajczski told police that he saw Green unsuccessfully try to break in to his neighbors van and when the good samaritan confronted the would-be burglar, Green replied "I'm drunk," and wandered off. Krajczski followed Green to Dexter Street where he made an unsuccessful attempt on a second vehicle.

Krajczski returned home where he found his neighbor and the pair drove around looking for Green. They allegedly found him inside a Honda on Summer Street belonging to William Ocasio. Green reportedly ran away when he spotted Krajczski, who chased him to 378 North Main St. Police found Green staring out the window of the building and reports state that the suspect was highly intoxicated. Green reportedly hit his head repeatedly against the plastic partition in the cruiser resulting in a stop at Landmark Medical Center before booking.
