Woonsocket Police Offering $1,500 Reward For Gun Theft Leads

One of the men asked the store manager for help with ammunition while the second man stole the handgun off the counter, the ATF said.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Police are offering a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of two suspects wanted for stealing a handgun from a shooting range last month.

According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the suspects went to Bullseye Shooting Supplies on Aug. 31.

The ATF told WPRI 12 one of the men asked the store manager for help with ammunition while the second man stole the gun off the counter. The handgun was a Smith & Wesson .22-caliber pistol.

Surveilliance video showed the suspects leaving in a dark-colored Toyota sedan.
