Woonsocket police have responded to a spill of between 30 and 50 gallons of hydrochloric acid in North Smithfield Tuesday.

SMITHFIELD, RI — Woonsocket police have responded to a reported Hazmat situation on Canal Street in North Smithfield. The spill of between 30 and 50 gallons of hydrochloride acid occurred at 14 Canal Street, per the report from Northwest Rhode Island Fire Alerts.
