Woonsocket Tax Wins City Championship
Team beats St. Joe's Cardinals 12-1 at Ayotte Field to end the season.

Woonsocket Tax took home the City Championship Wednesday night with a 12-1 victory over St. Joe's Cardinals of East Woonsocket.
Pitcher Matt Letourneau had a perfect night all around, going 3 for 3 at the plate with a two run homerun and five RBI’s, leading the Bernon Little League Major Division team to victory.
Letourneau also threw five strong innings, allowing only one run on four hits: a homer by Jaelin Jackson in the fifth inning.

Tiger Thlang made a huge contribution to the win with a walkoff grand slam homerun in the fifth inning. Jared Briere had a double, single and three RBI’s, while Noah Harris had two singles and two RBI’s.Â
