Woonsocket Woman Charged With Using Fake Food Stamps: Police

WOONSOCKET, RI — State Police charged a Woonsocket woman with using fake food stamps on Wednesday. Police said members of the Major Crimes Unit charged Celestine Robinson, 45, with one count of fraudulent use of the stamps.

Robinson was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned at Sixth Division District Court. Police said Robinson pleaded no contest to the charges and Robinson agreed to pay full restitution on the money owed.
