Woonsocket Yard Waste Drop-off Extended

WOONSOCKET, RI — The City has opened a temporary yard waste drop-off site to deal with leaves and grass clippings after the curbside pick-up ended on Dec. 3.

Residents may drop off yard waste (grass clippings and leaves), in paper bags only, to the Recycle Facility at 943 River St.

This extended service is available to Woonsocket residents only and is not available for commercial businesses. An attendant will be checking for proper identification. Paper bags should not include branches, stumps, or soil/dirt and should not be closed with tape.

Recycle Facility hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
