Tristan Miller led the Bulldogs with an 18:11.93 finish, backed by strong runs from teammates Howie Scanlon, Leyton Garrett, and Elliot Gerst in a deep hometown showing.
   

• Clinton High's Devil Regiment makes history with first finals appearance at Festival of Bands (whosonthemove.com) — Boiling Springs High School hosted the 46th annual Festival of Bands, where Clinton High's Devil Regiment made history by reaching finals for the first time. The band swept its Class 1 prelims at the Boiling Springs event, then finished ninth overall and now heads to its next competition Oct. 3 at Byrnes High in Duncan.
