• SC nurse arrested after stealing narcotics, officials say (wyff4.com) — Residents should know that a nurse at Karesh Long Term Care and Rehab in Camden has been charged with stealing hydrocodone from five patients classified as vulnerable adults. State officials say the alleged exploitation happened between April and July, and the 70-year-old nurse now faces multiple felony counts tied to fraud and abuse of controlled substances.
• Volleyball Recap: Camden Stays Hot with Another Win, This Time over Lower Richland (maxpreps.com) — Camden High's volleyball team stayed hot this week, sweeping Lower Richland 3–0 with dominant double-digit set wins to improve to 9–5. After four straight victories, the Bulldogs now turn their attention to a Thursday night matchup against familiar rival Airport, giving local fans another chance to support a surging squad.
• Mother of suspect named 4th charged in killing of Ra'heem Mack in Lee County (theitem.com) — A Camden teenager is among three young men previously arrested in the August killing of 18-year-old Ra'heem Mack in Bishopville, and deputies have now charged a fourth person as an alleged accessory. Lee County investigators say the shooting is tied to two other August gun incidents in the area, and they expect more arrests as the multi-agency probe continues.
