β’ Town of Central reports elevated disinfection byproducts in water (wyff4.com) β Residents in Central are being notified that recent tests found slightly elevated levels of disinfection byproducts in the town's drinking water at one monitoring site, above federal standards but not at an emergency level. Officials say you don't need to boil water, are flushing hydrants and exploring treatment upgrades, and encourage anyone with specific health concerns to consult a healthcare provider and share this notice widely.
