66% Of City Employees Fully Vaxxed + Coroner Identifies Foot

Here are the top stories in Charleston today:
- 66 percent of City of Charleston employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19; another 2 percent are partially vaccinated, and 1 percent have appointments scheduled. This number comes days after the city's first deadline for all city employees to be at least partially vaccinated. Mayor John Tecklenburg stated in a letter that all employees must be fully vaccinated by Nov. 22. (ABC NEWS 4)
- The Charleston County coroner has identified a foot found near Fort Sumter last year as a 57-year-old local woman. In a press conference Wednesday, Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal identified the victim as Janet Robinson, who was originally from Mississippi but had moved to the Charleston area. Authorities had recovered a second foot on Mar. 17 wearing the same shoe as the foot recovered on Oct.25, 2020; however, the rest of Robinson's remains have not been found. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- Administrators at Baptist Hill Middle High School said they found an "unloaded handgun" inside a student's backpack Monday; the weapon was confiscated without incident. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- Charleston County's Community Development Department will stop accepting Emergency Rental Assistance Program applications as of this coming Friday. (Live 5 News WCSC)
- The Charleston County Auditor's Office has begun mailing annual property tax bills this week; bills are due to the Treasurer's Office by Jan. 18, 2022. (holycitysinner.com)
