  1. Distribution and transportation provider Ability Tri-Modal is expanding its operations in Charleston County. The $24 million expansion of the company's North Charleston location is expected to be done by the fall of 2022. Applications are being accepted for the 27 new jobs this expansion will create. (WCBD News 2)
  2. The Charleston County School District is severely understaffed when it comes to mental health professionals. Staff laid out the need for these professionals and how they plan to address the needs during a Monday presentation. Currently, District officials say there is one school psychologist for every 1,100 students. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  3. For the second consecutive year, the Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) has ranked among the nation's top libraries in the United States. CCPL received a four-star rating from the Library Journal Index of Public Library Service (Index), earning a spot on the "America's Star Libraries" list. (WCBD News 2)
