Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:

1. The Charleston County Mosquito Control announced it will begin aerial and ground mosquito operations this week. Residents may notice the operations as the County's department treats and inspects the area's standing water for mosquitos. The operations will likely take place between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (WTMA)
2. The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. will present its second Symphony Tour of Homes – Historic Charleston on May 21 and May 22. The first tour was awarded the prestigious Gold Award of Excellence by The Volunteer Council of the League of American Orchestras. Tickets for the tour are $65 if paid in advance and will start at $70 if purchased the day of the tour. (holycitysinner.com)
3. Charleston County is partnering with Charleston Moves to seek a grant from the United States Department of Transportation. The grant will go towards funding the Better Northbridge project.
