• Man arrested at Berkeley County gas station says his First Amendment rights were violated (live5news.com) — A Berkeley County man who joined a First Amendment march in downtown Charleston is challenging his later arrest at a Highway 78 gas station, saying deputies violated his free-speech rights. He's calling for a transparent investigation into the deputy's conduct, preservation of all video evidence, and accountability if misconduct is found ahead of his Sept. 23 court date.
