Charleston County schools launch mobile Head Start classroom (live5news.com) — Charleston County families will soon see a new Head Start classroom-on-wheels visiting neighborhoods instead of requiring trips downtown to 75 Calhoun Street. The converted school bus will offer play spaces for young children, on-site enrollment help, and Head Start resources, while also helping the district recruit both students and future teachers across the county's rural and urban communities.

2. More than a hundred Fire Hydrants Across Charleston Water System Found Out of Service - Would You Know If Yours Was One of Them?
