CHARLESTON - Hurricane season is already in full swing this year.

Don't be caught unawares, get a copy of the 2011 South Carolina Hurricane Guide and a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration 2011 Information Sheet from WestAshleyPatch.com Editor Jonathan Allen.

We have a limited supply of the guides and information sheets available and are giving them away on a first come, first served basis. If you see Jonathan out and about stop him and ask for a guide. He'll hand them out until they are gone.

Hurricane Season lasts through Nov. 30. The guide is published by the South Carolina Emergency Management Division. The information sheet was developed by the National Coastal Data Development Center. A current version of the information sheet can also be obtained here.
