A National Pasttime For Men: Watching Cute Chicks

The Lowcountry is loaded with cute chicks.

Most guys will go out of their way to look at cute chicks.  You see them everywhere.  It could be at the mall, a grocery store, a bar or any social event.  It appears to be a national  past-time (for men).  Well, if you like looking at cute chicks, I have a real treat for you.  These chicks will bring a smile to your face and will make your day.

Yep, they can be found all over the Lowcountry.  Some say that chicks from South Carolina are some of the cutest.  I have to agree.

For those of you who want to see the cutest ones, you have to get off the sofa and head out to where they are.  They certainly aren't going to come to you.

If you have been following my blogs, you know I can be a smart ass who thinks he is pretty funny.  For those of you just getting to know me, I hope you take what I write with a grain of salt.  Since I have been at Kiawah recently, you might want to take it with a gazillion grains of sand.

Over the past few weeks I have had spring fever.  I have wanted to be outdoors and spend as much time as possible in places like the Audubon Swamp Gardens and Charleston County Beachwalker Park on Kiawah.  I think that they are right, we do have some of the cutest chicks around.

I have watched the Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Anhingas, Chickadees and others build their nests, lay their eggs and hatch their young.  I have attached a number of photos that I think you will enjoy.  Then, you can decide if these aren't the cutest chicks you have ever seen.

Let me know which one you think wins the "cutest chick" award.
