Piccolo Spoleto 28th Annual Juried Art Exhibition
Piccolo Spoleto 28th Annual Juried Art Exhibition, Charleston Visitor's Center
Well, art fans, it's almost Piccolo Spoleto time, once again. At noon this Friday, Mayor Joe Riley will address a crowd in front of the city hall and off we go, again.
Remember, Piccolo Spoleto and "Spoleto" are very different. While held at the same time, many of the Piccolo Spoleto events are either free or for a small fee.
This Tuesday, I will be dropping off two entries that will be showing/competing at the Piccolo Spoleto 28th Annual Juried Art Exhibition. People from the Charleston Artist Guild are once again handling the show for Piccolo Spoleto. The show begins Friday morning at 8:30 am. You can stop by the Charleston Visitor's Center and view the art for free. Ribbons will be affixed by that time and you can see which pieces won recognition. I will be at the Visitor's Center all day Friday, June 1st as well as Tuesday, June 5th. Stop by and see the art and visit with me for a bit. I will be expecting a big turn out from West Ashley Patchers. Here is the official info from the Piccilo Spoleto site:
