No this is not a festival to celebrate the unique language of the South but instead a Young Adult Book Festival happening this Saturday from 10-6 at Blue Bicycle Books, 420 King Street. In case you do not remember I recently confessed my obsession with Young Adult Fiction so I can not tell you how excited I am about this event. There will be 20 top young adult novelists conducting readings, participating in panel discussions and signing their books, including several with New York Times bestseller on their resume, as well as live music, a vendor bazaar, food truck rodeo and yep, the Library. The festival is free and open to the public. So come on out to YALL Fest, y'all.
