Lowcountry-based Universole will host this “Break Every Chain” fundraiser which will include special guest Jillian Mourning, a survivor of human trafficking, live music from Luke Cunningham and Irene Rose Smith, food and drinks, a silent auction and more. Proceeds will benefit Universole, a local nonprofit that teaches leather and shoemaking skills to at-risk women and survivors of human trafficking, to empower them with sustainable skills that make self-sufficiency a reality. Dress is cocktail chic, and guests will be entered for door prizes.
