Charleston To Host Mentor Recruitment Fair
The city of Charleston Mayor's Mentoring Consortium will host a Mentor Recruitment Fair to raise awareness of the importance of mentorship.

Charleston, S.C.—The city of Charleston Mayor’s Mentoring Consortium will host a Mentor Recruitment Fair to raise awareness of the importance of mentorship and supporting local youth on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Arthur W. Christopher Community Center, located at 265 Fishburne Street.

The event will feature a range of local mentoring organizations and will offer attendees a chance to learn about available volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
Mindy Sturm, Director of the Mayor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families, said, “Perhaps now more than ever, children need supportive and caring adults in their lives. That’s why we’re so grateful for the opportunity to highlight these valuable mentorship opportunities, and we look forward to getting started.”
