This year the All Academy Onboarding will be a 2-day conference (in person at the Chamber) where we will attend the virtual Academies of Nashville Study Visit together. During the conference we will learn about the strategies, structures and activities that are producing real opportunities for students. The agenda is structured to bring a high-level view of the extensive and deep engagement that has occurred when education and industry provide career exploration and WBL opportunities for students.

OCTOBER 25

9:00-10:30 a.m. – Welcome and Opening Session

10:45 – 11:45 a.m. – Academies of Nashville Student Experience Panel

Lunch

12:30 – 3-15 p.m. – Virtual School Tours (see 4 different schools)

Role Alike Options: Academy Coaches, District Leadership, Teachers, Business Post-Secondary, Workforce Development

3:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Role Alike sessions

OCTOBER 26

9:00 – 9:30 a.m. – Morning Overview

Rotate through: Academy Q&A, Business Engagement Structures, Curriculum and Teaching through the Lens, Managing Business and School Partnerships

9:45 – 10:45 a.m. – 1st rotation
11:00 -12:00 p.m. – 2nd rotation
12 – 1:30 p.m. Working Lunch (conference ends at 1:30)
