Passionate about public service, Mac was elected to the Berkeley County School District Board in 2014 and was re-elected in 2018, where he currently serves as the Chairman of the Finance and Capital Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust.
Mac is a native Charlestonian and blends an established business litigation practice with an emerging practice as a certified Circuit Court Mediator. He advises individuals, local businesses and government entities in routine and complex matters, and has extensive experience with both jury and non-jury trials. Mac handles probate, estate and trust cases; litigates LLC and partnership disputes; and provides general counsel and litigation services to local governments.
