Here are the top three stories in Charleston today:
- Charleston residents are eager to return to their favorite dining spots as Restaurant Week returns this Thursday. Restaurant Week allows Charleston residents to experience high-quality cuisine at a more affordable price. (WCBD News 2)
- Many Charleston citizens were turned away from Tuesday night's City Council meeting. In order to enter people had to present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test from the past 72 hours. Those who fail to do so were turned away at the door, leading many people to anger. (ABC NEWS 4)
- On Tuesday, a gun was found in a student book bag at Fort Dorchester High. Security officers were searching the student's bag when they found the firearm. Disciplinary action will be taken against the student as law enforcement investigates the situation. (WTMA)
