  1. The Charleston Teacher Alliance recently surveyed 850 Charleston County School District teachers about how the school year is going. The results found that 83% of CCSD teachers are more exhausted this year than last year, and 76% feel burned out. These annual results are the worst seen in 10 years, said the Director of the Charleston Teacher Alliance. (WTMA)
  2. Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum is hosting a career fair next Thursday, Nov. 4, from 10 am to 2 pm. The museum is currently hiring for at least seven positions including a full-time carpenter, electrician, administrative assistant to the executive director, registrar, and security specialist.   3. After more than 50 years of service, Charleston's longest-serving sworn police officer Sgt. Donald F. Daquigan is retiring from the agency. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  4. Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office said a third juvenile wanted for a July 19 murder has surrendered to deputies following a standoff in West Ashley. (Live 5 News WCSC)
