  1. The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a Saturday afternoon shooting that left two people injured. Police officers, as well as firefighters, responded at approximately 4:35 p.m to the Chatham Apartments on Chatham Avenue near North Murray Avenue. Two victims were taken to a nearby hospital; there was no immediate word on their condition. (Live 5 News WCSC)
  2. The Charleston holiday boat parade brought some festive cheer to local waterways on Saturday. As part of an annual Lowcountry tradition, boats decorated with holiday themes rode from the Cooper River through the Charleston Harbor and into the Ashley River.   3. The principal of a Charleston County arts school sent a letter to parents amid rumors of violence planned at the school, stating that police officers confirmed there is no threat after investigating a social media post. (Live 5 News WCSC)
