Full of possibilities,The Crescent is a favorite bedroom community for those who work in Charleston.

Historic and picturesque, West Ashley is one of the most popular bedroom communities for those who work in Charleston and prefer to live out of the city. Just 3 miles from downtown Charleston, the West Ashley neighborhood of The Crescent features incredible homes with dignified traditional brick exteriors, mostly built in the 1950’s through the 1970’s. Situated along the Intracoastal Water way, these large elegant residences frequently offer scenic views of waterways and marshes and some have their own private docks, as well as swimming pools.

The public boat landing at Wapoo Cut is only a half mile away and provides an easy entrance to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Charleston Harbor. 10 miles from the beach, leisure time in the sun and the sand is just minutes away. Close by, the West Ashley Greenway is a popular place for walkers, joggers, runners, and bikers. Students are within walking distance of one of Charleston’s finest private schools, the Porter Baud School. The South Windermere Shopping Center offers upscale shopping opportunities at places like the natural Earthfare grocery store, Half Moon Outfitters, the Urban Nirvana Day Spa, Starbucks, and more, right off Folly Road. The Haddrell’s Point Store features all the finest supplies a fisherman or hunter could need. Charlestowne Landing, Charleston Waterfront Park, the South Carolina Aquarium, and Patriot’s Point Naval and Maritime Museum are just a few of the nearby attractions. Charleston also offers a wealth of entertainment, shopping, and dining options, as well as museums, art galleries, historic buildings and more.
