Dr. Edward O’Bryan Joins Staff at Nason Medical Center

Edward C. O’Bryan, III, M.D., has been added to the medical staff of Nason Medical Center as an urgent/emergency care physician, it was announced today by Barron Nason, Chief Medical Officer and co-founder.

Dr. O’ Bryan was most recently an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine, VA Medical Center, Charleston, and continues as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina.

He completed medical school and residency at MUSC, is board certified in Internal Medicine and has practiced Emergency Medicine in Charleston since 2008. He also co-founded Palmetto Medical Initiative, a global non-profit organization performing medical missions to those in need of healthcare and establishing sustainable medical centers in Uganda, Nicaragua and Burundi.

Dr. O’Bryan joins a team of ten emergency physicians and their staffs working at five Nason Medical Centers in the Greater Charleston area. Together, they diagnose and treat more than 150,000 patients annually.
