Edisto Island Serpentarium offers a large display of reptiles from around the world. Kings Market is a local farmer’s market of six generations that also has a petting zoo. Other things to do include plantation tours, historic sites, tennis, miniature golf, swimming, fishing surfing, bike rentals Vineyard tours, horseback riding, and much more.

There is a variety of homes on the island, from bargains in fixer-uppers to deep water mansions priced in the millions. There are also a number of master-planned communities on marshes, creeks, lakes, oak groves, and pine forests. You can find elegant oceanfront beach houses and rustic cottages.
