Community Class: Beginning Jewlery Making

JEWELRY MAKING, BEGINNING: This beginners class will offer students an opportunity to design and create their own special pieces of jewelry. The class will focus on the different metal wires used in jewelry making and how to string beads to make bracelets, earrings and necklaces, all of which will be made during this course. MATERIALS: There is a $20 materials fee that is payable to the instructor the first night. This includes all beads and wires needed to complete class projects and enough material to make several more pieces at home. If you do not already have jewelry making tools, you may also purchase a tool kit from the instructor for $30. This tool kit includes a zippered carrying case, 1 round nose pliers; 1 flat nose pliers; 1 long nose pliers; 1 flush cutter; 1 bead reamer; 1 tweezers and bead scoop. If you choose not to purchase the starter tool kit from the instructor, please bring the tools listed above to class with you.
