FLORAL DESIGN IN SILK: Does the economy have you down but you still want to have beautiful flowers to enhance your home? Then learn to arrange them yourself.
In our Floral Design in Silk class you will learn the basics in floral artistry. Students will discuss the differences in fresh, silk, and dried flowers. Additionally, students will learn bow making and the different styles of arrangements. Each of the 6 weeks, students will be given a flower choice list, as well as, a material list for you to make your arrangement. Together in class, the instructor will demonstrate while students make their designs. By the end of the course, each student will have designed 5-6 arrangements and/or a wreath - beautiful flowers to enhance your home or as gifts
for friends and loved ones. First night of class students will learn how to make bows: Students are asked to bring 5 or more yards of wired ribbon and scissors to class; no flowers are needed for the first night.
